One of cycling's best finishers, Thor Hushovd was a key acquisition for the startup Cervelo TestTeam. He got to work quickly, winning stage 3 of the Tour of California. We spoke with him later on in the week about what wheels he might run in future races like Paris-Roubaix as well as the learning process on his new, detail-oriented team.

Although it was just an 80-mile day, today's stage had a bit of everything. The first half of the race was a gradual climb to Millcreek Summit in the Angeles National Forest, followed by a tricky descent towards Pasadena. But once the race dropped down from the mountains, there were 20 miles of fast finishing circuits around the Rose Bowl. In picking a wheelset for today, riders had to balance getting over the climb with staying near the front in the finale. Here's what they were riding...
