I was working on a little microsite with only 5 or 6 pages that I'd normally just hard-code. But the completely non-tech-savvy client wanted to make some occasional copy edits without seeing any code. As much as I love WordPress, the user interface is pretty overwhelming for a lot of people. And any big database-driven CMS would be overkill for a site this small that's hardly ever going to be updated.
So I made Superlight. It doesn't do everything that a full-blown content management system can do, but it's an elegant solution for a lot of situations. Login with Facebook Connect, do a little editing, and save to local text files. No database or back-end development required. Just design, upload, and go. Let me know if you want to try it out! Open source release coming soon.
Superlight lets you tab through each page and make basic WYSIWYG edits or update the HTML source using the TinyMCE editor.
